As a proud Delivery Partner for BambuddhaGroup, I was once again blown away by the calibre of speakers at our keynote event in August at the best venue I have attended in a long time Kafnu. Partnering with SEVENTEENx, which is a Sustainable Development Goal showcasing event series, I was lucky enough to hear from Paul Dunn, Chair of B1G1, Afra Abdeen who is a Sustainable Business Specialist for Unilever, Claudette Rechtorik, Founder and CEO of Sea Life Trust and Asha Kayla, Founder & CEO, The Impact Faculty.
We got a healthy dose of the realities of the world we are living in, but also a refreshingly positive approach to how businesses can truly make an impact to our world as well as their bottom line. In her presentation, Asha Kayla highlighted the Drawdown Project which cites the education of girls and family planning as being classed in the Top 10 ways we can reduce global warming….yes….really…. and it absolutely makes sense.
